Meet The Founder
Hi, Im Ty Hathaway.
I'm the founder of Genesis Becoming, a creative studio built around helping businesses uncover, clarify, and express who they truly are.
Through branding, creative direction, and website design, I help transform ideas into identities that feel intentional, authentic, and memorable.
"I loved helping people bring their ideas to life long before I believed I could do it professionally."
My Story
What began as a simple love for creativity gradually became something more. For years, I spent countless hours helping friends, family, and local businesses bring their ideas to life. I found myself drawn not only to the creative process, but to the moment when someone finally saw their vision become reality.
For a long time, I kept those gifts to myself. I wasn't sure if others would value my perspective or trust me with their ideas. Yet as more people began seeking out my help, I realized creativity wasn't simply something I enjoyed—it was one of the ways I could serve others.
Genesis Becoming was born from that realization. Today, my goal is simple: help businesses uncover their identity and bring it into the world with clarity, purpose, and intention.
What I Believe
Every Business Carries an Identity Worth Realizing
Businesses are more than logos, websites, and marketing materials.
Behind every business is a person, a story, a vision, and a reason it exists.
My role is to help uncover that identity and shape how it is seen and experienced by others.
Creativity Should Be Intentional
Creativity should be intentional.
Good design is not decoration.
Every choice should support a larger purpose and communicate something meaningful.
Relationships Matter
The best work happens through collaboration, trust, and genuine understanding.
I believe great creative work starts with listening.
Beyond Design
When I'm not working on client projects, you'll likely find me spending time with family and friends, exploring new creative ideas, serving in ministry, or enjoying life on the pickleball court here in Tennessee.
